FNG waterproof Silica gel is white or light grey pellets. It is processed and formed from powders. Besides the adsorption feature possessed by ordinary silica gel, FNG silica gel also possesses good water-tolerant property, low break-down rate of reclamation and long service life, etc.
Waterproof silica gel consists of grains ranging in size from 2.0 to 5.0 mm. Grains are of white or light yellow color of spherical shape. The low dew point of the absorbent is -70 C. Per gram of the substance, there are pore surfaces ranging from 650 to 750 m2. 120 to 130 N is the range for the compressive strength. Due to this characteristic, it can be used in a variety of technological processes where it is necessary to cover other sorbents in protection.
Application
FNG waterproof silica gel can be used as acetylene adsorbent in the liquid air and liquid oxygen in gas-separation industry. FNG water-proof silica gel is also used to adsorb the acid and water in oil and the color caused by the organic solvent. There’s no impediment to the oil quality or the diesel engines when it is used for fuel purification.FNG waterproof silica gel is actively used as a protection of the main absorbent from the destructive action of water drops. Applied for drying air and natural gas, as well as other process gases in various industries.

Temperature can be used to regenerate waterproof silica gel. Even after total submersion in water, subsequent regeneration ensures that all of the absorbent qualities are fully recovered.
