Orange silica gel is an indicator silica gel bead that changes its color from orange to pink or green when it absorbs moisture. Silica gradually changes color from orange in the activated state to green in the saturated state. It can be reactivated by heating to 250-450°F in clean air until it turns orange again. The gel is naturally orange in color with active activity and a saturation level of 6 %.
Since it is non-toxic, odourless, safe for the environment, and has silicon dioxide as its principal component, it is quickly replacing blue silica gel.
