Blue silica gel

Blue Silica Gel moderates the humidity in enclosed exhibit cases and storage areas. It turns from blue to pink when it has become saturated.Silica gel blue indicator is made of rounded cobalt chloride-treated granules with tiny pores.Silica gel ranges in hue from light to dark blue. It turns pink when moisture is present. This kind of transformation reveals whether the material needs to be completely replaced or regenerated at high temperatures. This method captures the core of desiccant action. Blue silica gel has the capacity to absorb up to 31.2% of its own weight in moisture.

Blue Silica Gel Application:

Properties: The ability of silica gel-indicator to regulate the environment in a closed space distinguishes it from regular silica gel in addition to its capacity to absorb moisture. It has high strength, is able to withstand mechanical stress, and is durable. It exhibits inertia to almost all compounds and is very economical due to its capacity for thermal regeneration. It can be repeatedly restored by drying at temperatures 120-130 C for few hours and reused.
