Type B Silica Gel Properties:
Shape:pellets or lumps.
Color:milky white, transparent or translucent.
Pore volume: 0.60-0.85ml/g.
Average pore diameter: 4.5-7.0nm
Specific surface area: 450-650m2/g. Structure lying between macro-pored and fine-pored silica gels.
Sizes:0.5-1.5mm,2-5mm,3-5mm,4-8mm.
Packing:20kg per compound bag or 500 kg. Per container bag.
Properties: Medium porous silica gel have a larger pore volume and a relatively high specific surface area.At low relative pressures, they exhibit greater adsorption activity and moisture capacity.
Type B Silica Gel Application:
Type B silica gel is mainly used as liquid adsorbents, drier and perfume carriers, also may be used as catalyst carriers, silica sands, etc.
It may be used to desiccate oils and petroleum products from moisture, dry freon from condensate, remove contaminants from vapors, separate hydrocarbons, etc. In addition to being utilized as liquid adsorbents, driers, and scent carriers, Type B silica gel may also be used to carry catalysts, make silica sands, and other things.
